As a kid, my mom allowed me to stay up past my bedtime if I gave her a massage. I quickly discovered a natural aptitude for massage, and an appreciation for the ability to improve peoples' mood and lessen their pain.
Years later, I decided it was time to pursue massage therapy as a career. I enrolled at Northwestern Health Sciences University, the premier massage therapy program in the state. There I gained the knowledge and experience needed to work professionally. This includes: extensive knowledge on human anatomy and physiology, a plethora of massage techniques, tons of valuable practice experience on real clients with expert supervision, and a deep understanding of the ethical and psychological considerations that come along with the work.
I graduated in 2024 with an Associates of Applied Sciences in Massage Therapy.
